African Legacy Foundation Signs Academic Cooperation Agreement with the International University of Communications in Venezuela

The African Legacy Foundation has signed an academic cooperation agreement with the International University of Communications in Caracas, Venezuela, marking another step in strengthening educational and intellectual collaboration between Africa and Latin America.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Moussa Ibrahim, Executive Secretary of the African Legacy Foundation, and Tania Díaz, President of the International University of Communications. It establishes a framework for student exchanges, joint academic publications, and collaborative educational initiatives between the Foundation and the University.

As part of this partnership, Dr. Moussa Ibrahim has also been appointed as an annual visiting lecturer at the university. His lectures will focus on themes including colonialism, revolutionary theory, and the narratives of resistance and hegemony, contributing to academic dialogue on liberation movements and the shared experiences of the Global South.

The first lecture under this collaboration is scheduled to be delivered to postgraduate students, with the participation of the university’s academic staff, providing an opportunity for in depth discussion on the historical and contemporary challenges facing Africa and Latin America.

This partnership reflects the African Legacy Foundation’s commitment to expanding international academic cooperation, preserving the intellectual heritage of liberation movements, and building stronger connections between institutions across the Global South.
